Relais Cavalcanti is a private historical residence rather than a hotel.
As is the case in a private home our guests can enjoy various communal spaces like the enchanting sitting room, furnished with beautiful antiques and a comfy sofa or the large welcoming tea room where we offer free of charge a variety of beverages including coffee, tea and chocolate. There is also toast, fruit, cookies, orange juice and various sweet things available.This room is always open and it’s a free self service
The Reception is open every day from 9.00 till 13.00.
Check-in is between 14.00 and 18.00. Our guests can also arrive at Relais Cavalcanti in the morning after 9.00 and leave their bags with us if their room isn’t yet ready.
Guests are kindly asked to inform us of their time of arrival a few days in advance.
It’s possible to organise a late check-in – after 18.00 but before 22.00. In this case it’s necessary to make an appointment. So as not to disturb our guests late at night we’re sorry to say we don’t accept arrivals after 22.00.
We can book tickets, without any extra cost, for all the main museums, thaeatres, concerts and exhibitions in the city as well as organised trips in Florence and Tuscany. It’s also possible to arrange through us a baby-sitter, a hire car with a driver, a place on a cookery course or beauty treatment and massage,
We don’t have parking facilities. However we’ll be happy to point out the nearest car park or garage.
Relais Cavalcanti offers a Breakfast service from 8.00 a.m. to 11.00 a.m.. It’s a “Buffet breakfast” and it’s a self-service.

The entire building is a non-smoking area.
Relais Cavalcanti has an elevator. It’s worth nothing that there are 21 steps between the entrance on via Pellicceria and the elevator.
